Yesterday was Thanksgiving, it was a good day until I was put in the bedroom with Fiona for 4 hours. At least they put us in the bedroom with the electric blankie, litter box and food. We missed all the excitment, the company, family , the new baby, the food, and the racoon family that walked on to the deck to tear open the garbage bag full of food. There was an entire family of raccoons eating the left over turkey dinner until they got scared away by all the human faces staring at them through the glass doors.
We never got any turkey for dinner, not a morsal. Mom says she will give us some tomorow when dad goes to work. We didn't do anything today but rest and watch movies and catch up on the latest kitty blogs. Mom doesnt't do Black Friday, she is not about to get up that early to wait in long lines in the cold. She likes to shop online. Her new camera was jsut delivered today, it's charging, she is a little confused with it and hopes to figure it out this weekend so she can take more pictures of ME!
This weekend we are still going to take it easy, it's been a very busy week with driving to Iowa to get Fiona, the baby, all the commotion, shopping for Thanksgiving dinner, cleaning, cooking and decorating, etc. She says she is tired and wants to relax this weekend. I think I will relax with mom and wish all of you a wonderful and relaxing weekend. Talk to you all soon, but for now we rest and relax!

G'day Harry, we're glad that you'll get some turkey later on. It was probably better for you guys to miss out on some of the craziness by hanging out in your room. It sounds like a busy day. Hope you enjoy snuggling with your Mom and hanging out with your family,

No Turkey????? We think your Mom owes you extra turkey and some very special scrinches and pets.

Harry, we hope you and Fiona get a little turkey! We got some after the humans were done stuffing their faces and it was really good!!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
You know my cats didn't even have a Thanksgiving, they have to wait until Christmas to get some turkey, we don't celebrate in the "old" world, lol !
Thanks for your warm comment for Tchoppy !
I hope you finally got some turkey!
Yes, it all sounds so hectic! Maybe you were the lucky ones to be locked in the bedroom with all your creature comforts.
Sure hope you get some of that turkey, today!
We think that charging up the camera to take more photos of you is an excellent plan, Harry!
No turkey on Thanksgiving? AND you missed the raccoons? You got GYPPED! We did get some turkey after the humans came home from where ever they had wandered off to, but it's such a rare occasion for us that one of us cats (Boodie) didn't even know what it was. Sad.
We sure hope you got your fair share of leftover turkey!
No turkey. Hm. I've never had turkey. Is it nice? Have you ever had any?
Maybe I should try and steal some.

Nice to rest and relax after the holiday. Our mom deosn't do Friday shopping either - she likes all handmade gifts. Have a snuggle fest!
SOunds like you had a nice quiet day in that room with Fiona. I hope your Mum remembers to give you some turkey! Thanks for visiting us :)

I don't blame you one bit, rest and relaxing is always best!!!
Hope you finally got some turkey. Jan shared a nibble with us.
Congrats on your mom's first grandbaby!
Don't feel bad about getting locked up. I had the run of the house but I choose to hide under the bed all the day long. Actually I pretty much stayed there until the company left. Today was rest, rest, and more rest. Nice quiet day.
You are adorable. I hope you got your turkey.
Hey Harry and Fiona, we are sorta slow in stopping by to say hi, after you visited us...but Disco insisted he needs more furless furrends, so we finally made it by to visit you!
Retired momcats are the bestest furrends cuz they love taking care of babies and hopefully Fiona will wash and lick and purr in your ears and you will get along before too many days go by.
Hope you got your turkey...we got turkey baby food!
Somehow knowing you do not get turkey on Thanksgiving helps me cope with my own lack of turkey. Thank you!
Paws 'n Claws,
Rupert
