Since Fiona moved in I have lost all my favorite warm snoozing spots, the big bed with the electric blanket, on top of the cable box under the lamp and my favorite heat vent. It's been snowing since Monday and we are expecting more snow and extreme bitter wind and cold. What's a naked kitty supposed to do with this terrible news? I had no choice so I moved into my old cat carrier. It's not like I am 100% and here I am hunkered down in my old carrier trying to stay warm and recooperate. Don't know what happened? I have lost my meow and I still sneezes. Good thing I have more meds to take. Hopefully my meow will come back.

Doesn't Fiona looks warm and comfy in the big bed, I am giving her a break since she has toothie and gum sores. She is resting up for her vet visit on Friday for her pre-surgery blood panel. Just wait till she's better!

It's hard to share when you've been used to having it all your way. Your mewmie could lay a towel over the carrier to make it more "cave-like".
By the way, did your vet have you give L-Lysine for your cold virus. It helps especially if they think it is Rhinotracheitis (Feline Herpesvirus). Give 500mg twice daily during outbreaks and 250mg twice daily as the maintenance dose. You can use regular human kind or get one made for cats like Viralys or Enisyl-F. My cats get it in a powder form mixed in with food (Viralys) but one likes the Vetri-Lysine Chews. You can buy them online at entirelypets.com or your vet may carry them too (but they will be cheaper online)
Hi Harry, I hope you all didn't get too much snow. We got lucky here so far - we expected a lot but I can still see the grass right now (but it is raining and going to get cold so the ice will be bad). We are in the west suburbs of Chicago so they keep saying more is coming but we are keeping our fingers crossed that they are wrong. I think you should try to snuggle with your sister to stay warm - I bet that would help! We hope you don't get too cold and that you get your meow back soon!
Sounds like your house needs more electric blankies. Maybe you'll get more for christmas!
Harry, you are a very good kitty to be so generous with Sophie. Keep warm!
Paws 'n Claws,
Rupert
We're sure that Fiona is very grateful for your kindness and generosity, Spot! And, as you say, when she's better...hee hee hee.....
That sounds like one nasty storm!
PS: We're L-Lysine fans too!
My brother has to spend time in all the spots I normally like to sleep, so I understand how you feel.~Junior
We are purring and purring for both of you!~~Junior, Orion and Meowm
Hi Harry,
I hope you feel better soon. Good luck to Fiona too, for her surgery.
I'm purring for both of you.
I'm glad I have lots of fur, the summer is harder for me than winter. It never snows here in Lisbon, just once two years ago because of all the climate changes that are happening in the world. Maybe when you're better you can come visit, the weather is much nicer here.

Maybe you two could just try snuggling together!
Fiona does look pretty comfy there! We hope all goes well for her at the vet!
We hope all goes well at the vet too, and we hope you both keep comfy warm every single winter day!!!
We know to well, surgeries are so expensive! Nanny is still paying her $3000 bill from this summer. With the bad economy it's difficult. We wish everything goes well and a quick recovery! Harry kept warm!
Big hugs,
Loki
Mom gives us L-lysine too. We think it really helps since we are all prone to eye goobers and nose clogs.

Oh, Spot! Too bad you lost your spot! The cat carrier looks pretty comfy, though, and as long as the door is open you're not trapped.
Poor Fiona! It was nice of you to let her have the big bed. She will need all her strength.
Poor Fiona, Sadie hadded toof prollems awhile ago and it was no fun fur her, us or mom and dad. We sure hope she feels better. We gots snow too! Lots, and now it is brrrrry cold outside.
Wow! Living in a place where there is lots of snow and ice has to be rough on kitties without all of the floof!
We just caught up on how you two have been doing and we are so sorry you have both been poorly. We send you rumbly purrs to help you both recover and for dear Fiona to get through her surgery well. We hope Fiona's previous owner has a crisis of conscience too!
Rumbly purrs
