We Got a Refund from the Breeder

Some good news on this the first day of the New Year, the breeder refunded what we paid her for Fiona and to get her spayed. We received all $310.00 back. That will be put aside to help pay for Fiona's future dental extractions and for Spot's Vet visits.  Which won't go very far but it helps. Every dollar helps and it all adds up. Spot goes to the Vet tomorrow for his cough, so will use some of that refund tomorrow. We are appreciative, so  now it's completely behind us and we can all move forward to a brand new year.

We have so much to be thankful for, new grand baby, our little girl in China that we hope to travel to get in April, and the marriage our daughter in Sept. So many happy events to look forward to and we so blessed to have met so many wonderful friends on the CB, you have touched our hearts, and enriched our lives. We don't know what we would have done with out you. We look forward to a new year with all of  you in our lives and Spot and Fiona's.

Happy New Year !

That is some good news to start off the New Year. The breeders must have suddenly realised that they were getting bad publicity. We hope now that Spot soon gets better and Fiona's condition can be kept under control.
Some good news for us - you suddenly started showing up in our reader. We got eight posts all turned up together!
Happy New Year.

Even though it is not a huge sum of money (compared to your expenses), I think just the fact that the breeder refunded your moneys goes a long way towards making you feel better about things.

I am wishing you all a happy and, most of all, healthy 2010!

I was just heading to bed, I'm back home in Virginia now, home to a broken heat system, 55 degrees in the house with the electric heater in the bedroom on, and expected low temp tonight of 20...but the good news about the breeder refunding what you paid for Fiona...as you said, you can put one paw in front of the other and try to move on, in a pawsitive way, in 2010!

That is terrific that you got a refund. And it looks like you raised a lot of money for Fiona. I hope the surgery goes well.

Happy New Year to you! It seems it is starting off better already -- that's a very good sign.

Oh I'm so excited for you Harry Spotter! What a year it's going to be for you. The kitties, a grandbaby, a little girl from China and a wedding in September (my wedding is in September too). How wonderful. I can't wait to see how things go for you. :D

I am so happy to learn you got the money back!

Could you do a post on how Fiona is doing after her surgery?

I hope you all stay warm inside, not having to brave that low wind chill. We get some pretty cold wind chills here in this part of AZ in the winter, too.
