Fiona's weekend Round-up!

It's been a long week for me. Actually, Wednesday was not a good day for me. It was the first time since I came to my new home that I really did something naughty. I didn't mean to cause such a catastrophie but I did. I bet you are wondering what I did.. hang on I will tell you. You need to know that I am not a good jumper, I can't jump very high yet. I don't know why I just can't, doesn't mean I don't try-I do. That's where the catastrophie happened.

Dad made his famous chili mac for him and mom. He worked hard making sure everything was perfect and that mom could sit and relax after work. Dad called mom to the table to eat, I got all excited and decided to try and jump onto the table. I jumped and made it to the top of the table..well the edge of it anyway. I  put one paw on the table and one paw on the rim of the mom's plate. The plate of chili mac went flying and landed upside down on the kitchen floor, mom and dad's jackets that they had hung over the back of the chairs, Spot's mancave, and the mail on th table. To make things worse I got so scared that  I jumped off the table  knocking over the cup of water . The water flew in all directions including the window, the wall, the mail and the floor.

I didn't know what to do, I am still kind of new  and I didn't know what mom and dad would do to me, would they yell and me, hit me, throw me outside? I was so scared that I ran up stairs and hid shaking the whole time. Mom came upstairs to find me but I was a good hider, I sat very still so no one could even hear me breathe. After the mess downstairs was cleaned up, dad came up to find me. He found me shaking and scared. He picked me up, hugged me and kissed me and told me it was ok. Then he cleaned me up since I had chili mac on my legs, body, head.. Mom kissed me too and said it was ok. I was so relieved . Now I know that mom and dad love me even when I make mistakes. I am a very lucky and blessed kitty to have my mom and dad. Spot, I am not so sure about.

Spot has been such a nusiance this week with his mustache poll. Which look will win, Charlie Chaplin, the handle bar, or no mustache? He loves his bowler and  Charlie Chaplin mustache. He looks like he has a black bug on his lip or something. He thinks he is all that and more. So, I have kept him on the run this week. Two can play the chase game. I came from the hood you know. When your one of many kitties you have to stick up for yourself and let them know your there. Let's just say that Spot knows I am here- here to stay.

That's my round up for this week. I plan to spend all weekend napping and chasing Spot.  Have a great weekend everyone.

Quite a Cat-ass-trophy! I think they knew that you were so scared, it was hard to be mad for long...

I am glad that your people knew that it was just some mistake. They should give you your own place at the table and such confusion would not happen. Now if only I could convince my humans of that...

Your mommy and daddy love you so much, Fiona, and that always makes it easier to forgive these kinds of accidents. :)

Don't feel bad, Fi! I can't jump, either. And whenever I try, I ALWAYS knock something over! Last night it was a whole bottle of Coke on daddy! Mommy was in the hospital and couldn't clean me up, so daddy had to bathe me!
It's wonderful that your mommy and daddy love you so much. You're a lucky kitty!

Poor little Fiona. You meant well and must have been so, so scared. We're glad your Mom and Dad showed you how much they love you. I'm not exactly clumsy but I am overly athletic and energetic so when I land on the table, much that was there tends to fly off....

Awwww! Bless your little heart! These things happen. Trust us, it's happened here too. It was only an accident, but we know how scared it made you. We're sure your mom and dad let you know it was ok and it was not your fault.

Poor Fiona, that must have been really scary. Glad that Mom and Dad didn't get mad. We all make mistakes all the time. Some of us couldn't jump either when we were kittens. So don't feel bad. You will be able to jump soon.

Isn't it wonderful to have a mom and dad that know "accidents" do happen????? We don't think you were being at all naughty, Fiona, it was a total accident. xxxxxxxxx

Awww, Fiona,

We're all sorry you had such a bad time with that ole chili mac! Thankfully, you were not hurt.

We bet you looked a little cute with all that chili mac all over you. We can just imagine the look on your face!

We're glad you are so special to have your mommy and daddy that give you lots of extra love.

Yes indeed, I bet that really did scare you. I know you smiled pretty and said you were sorry...so I'd say not to worry and have a restful weekend!

Fiona, you have successfully completed the Chili Mac Challenge. Congratulations. You should have NO doubts that mom & dad are forever smitten with you. Next time, just keep walking...slowly...with that "what? did something fall?" look on your face. It's called nonchalant. It's something us cats have in our blood.

Give Spot a smooch for me. That is if you're still talking.

Happy Super Bowl Weekend!

Katie

Awww, sweetie, it's ok. Accidents happen. Scooter(RIP) wasn't the best jumper in the world and mom has had her share in wearing her food because of it. You have a loving family who would never hurt you for a mistake and it's really sad to know, there are animals in homes, where that's the daily ritual. We wish we could just rescue them all! And as for Spot? We really dig the Handle Bar 'Stache. But, you're the Queen, be sure to keep reminding him!

Poor Fiona, that was very frightening for you. Your mum and dad love you very much and knew you weren't being naughty, and accidents do happen.

Amy and The House of Cats said...

Oh Fiona we are sorry that was so scary for you! But we have to say that was not naughty - it was an accident, and accidents happen. You weren't trying to knock the plate over. And you have a great mom and dad because they realized this too - you are very lucky. There are bad people who might have gotten mad, but you have nice ones for your parents!

Ozark Mountain Cats said...

That happens at our house all the time. That's why we let dumb and dumber (dogs) hang around. They do a pretty good job of hiding the evidence.

We think you have some pretty fantastic parents, they handled things just right! Accidents happen, and you are far too bootiful to ever do anything naughty on purpose! (and even if you did, we bet your humans would still forgive you)

Batu said...

Your parents totally know it was a mistake. You are lucky to have such a loving home where you are truly appreciated.
This happened to me too when I first came to live with Vicki and Paul. I didn't understand that they loved me unconditionally. It is so nice to feel so secure.

You have good folks there at your place, which I already knew. They love your bunches and mistakes happen. They might not like what happened but they always love your and Spot.
This has been an exciting week with the auction and lots of $$$$ are coming in to help you out.
Many thanks to all that have donated items and our bidders. Without them we could not have an auction.
See you two tomorrow for the big game!

Fiona, our Moms and Dads know that things like that are only accidents, and they love us even when they do happen. We hope you didn't taste any of the chili mac that was on you, we think that would be too spicy for a kitty!
